TASK
Write proposal for a project to introduce intensive horticulture crop production to Primary and Secondary schools of Boyo Division. This will be done through the provision of the necessary factors of production that are not locally available or out of the means of the schools. The project will thus have the following components:
Seeds and equipment for:
i)Horticulture crops (vegetables and fruits)
ii)Agro-forestry trees
Volunteer will develop a proposal and identify donor for it.
Volunteers will work from May,June and July 2012. We shall supply them all information needed to accomplish the tasks. They can work as a team as well as individually. Volunteers will either be English or French speakers. Communication will be through email and sometimes on phone.

The goal of MIFACIG is to alleviate poverty through the sustainable management of natural resources in rural area. This involves training people to produce valuable planting material and increase food production while encouraging environmental protection . MIFACIG uses training as a tool to empower local communities. Therefore, targeting the youths in schools is building a sustainable future for professional farming and environmental protection
OBJECTIVE
To encourage and enhance the production and marketing of garden crops as an income generating measure in seven primary schools and five secondary schools in Boyo Division through participatory demonstration, training and the provision of basic equipment and seed material. These would also create a sustainable future impact on the youths as regards farming and environmental protection .
