Chief of Party-Cameroon Health Program

PSI seeks dynamic candidates for the position of Chief of Party to provide support to PSI's global mission. This position will provide leadership and management to an upcoming 4 year KfW project entitled, 'Cameroon Health Program: AIDS in the context of a SWAp.' PSI will be the prime recipient of the project partnering with l'Association Camerounaise pour le Marketing Social, EPOS Health Management and le Service d'Appui aux Initiatives Locales de D?veloppement. This full time position will be based in Yaound?, Cameroon and will report to the ACMS Executive Director. Please note: this position is contingent on funding.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, management and implementation of a health services delivery voucher project (Health Program/SWAp) in Cameroon
Oversee the development and management of effective evidence-based M&E interventions, to assess and follow Health Program/SWAp project activities and impact
Collaborate closely with all stakeholders, including primarily the MOH, to ensure Health Program/SWAp project activities are designed and managed based on documented evidence
Oversee the management of sub-awardees as well as the training of consortium partners, peer educators, and community leaders
Serve as the primary liaison with KfW for the project in close coordination with the ACMS Executive Director and other relevant technical staff
Effectively collaborate with all key partners and stakeholders throughout the life of the project
Manage partner relationships relevant to the Health Program/SWAp, including partnerships with local and international organizations
Supervise and lead the Health Program/SWAp project Staff team in coordination with the ACMS Executive Director, HR manager and other relevant staff

At least 7-10 years of demonstrated success in leading and managing programs and staff applying analytical and interpersonal skills
At least five years work experience in sub-Saharan Africa
Relevant post-graduate degree in (MD, MBA, MIA, MPA, MPH, BAC+5)
Good understanding of international development and health issues
Familiarity with KfW and other international donors
Fluency in English and French

The successful candidate will also have excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-cultural skills; demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize a variety of tasks on short notice within designated deadlines; able to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced work environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in health financing, health economics and voucher schemes; knowledge of KfW and the international donor community; and a proven record of excellent management and interpersonal skills.

CONSTRUCTION SITE ENGINEER

Reports to: Head of Facilities engineering
Location: Douala (Cameroon)
Purpose: Assist Head of Facilities engineering in construction supervision of onshore and offshore Facilities projects for PCC from concept through start-up and operational optimization and in all the various phases of the project management such as justification, design, contract management, construction, final installation and commissioning.

MAJOR OBJECTIVES:

Environment : To assess the economic, political and social conditions of the country and to advice on their potential impact on Citibank.

Business : To develop and implement business plans and activities across all sectors that are in the country.

Communication : To chair meetings of various committees such as CCC, BRCC, ALCO etc., with representatives of all business groups to ensure effective and substantive exchange of information on a regular basis. Represent the bank at public forums.

Regulators : To represent Citibank to local regulators.

Legal, Compliance and Audit : To ensure that all business activity within the country adheres to corporate policies and applicable laws and regulations.
