An Exploration and Production Company in the Gulf of Guinnee is looking for motivated experienced candidates for the following openings in its Technical and Operations Department.

CONSTRUCTION SITE ENGINEER

Reports to: Head of Facilities engineering
Location: Douala (Cameroon)
Purpose: Assist Head of Facilities engineering in construction supervision of onshore and offshore Facilities projects for PCC from concept through start-up and operational optimization and in all the various phases of the project management such as justification, design, contract management, construction, final installation and commissioning.

Accountabilities:
? Initiate, develop and execute new surface facilities projects, including development of workscope, contract management, material requisition, yard fabrication and relevant standards required for non destructive testing.
? Provide general technical and operational support to Operations and participate in design reviews, HAZOP and HAZID
? Integrate reviews on facilities field modifications and ensure facilities engineering standards are followed as part of Management of change process.
? Collaborate with partners on all field development and field improvement projects
? Participate in the full project life cycle from the Identify to the Operate phase following Shell standards
? Ensure that own actions plus those of contractors are conducted in accordance with the company Health Safety and Environment (HSE) management system.

Key challenges
? Meet all HSE, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
? Coordinate project development and execution in a brown field environment.
? Supervise multidisciplinary site construction works offshore and deliver on cost, safety and schedule

Qualifications : Job knowledge, Skills, Qualities & Experience.

? Minimum B.Sc. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electrical Engineering with 10 years hands-on experience preferably in offshore facilities construction
? Sound knowledge of Offshore construction, relevant specifications and standards as well as simultaneous operations on producing platforms
? Self-starter and motivated individual (with a "can do" attitude)
? Able to work in a very diverse multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
? Good analytical skills
? Strong interpersonal skills, which are required to develop the many and varied interfaces and to engender trust, credibility and respect
? Demonstrate HSE Leadership and ability to prioritize HSE over delivery of operational targets
