Job Description

This position has the overall responsibility in managing the financial functions of Cameroon and Gabon.

The Finance Manager is responsible and accountable for the following Core job elements for Cameroon and Gabon.

•  Ensure that the financial function conforms to CFP’s, GAAP and Local Accounting Standards.

•  In conjunction with General Manager – CDT, device and implement business plans such as New Products, New Geography’s and GtM strategy’s.

•  Prepare Annual Statutory accounts and reconciliation with management accounts.

•  Responsible for preparation of monthly payroll.

•  Responsible for all IT function and support.

•  Prepare all Board of Directors minutes.

•  Attend to all ad hoc information as request by the Hub and New York. 

Education and Qualifications

•  The position for this Job requires at a minimum an accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA and a degree.

•  MBA degree with concentration in Finance or Management is an added advantage.

•  In addition to the above the incumbent should also have a proven career track record and extensive years of experience in finance roles.

PURPOSE

* Ensure unpalletized trucks are unloaded and loaded on time for distributors with finished goods to; meet an OTIF of at least 95% against customer order. There by reducing the down time of trucks in the brewery.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Be a holder of at least a GCE A level. Logistic or accounting related qualification.

* A minimum of 1 year working experience in control and inventory.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

AsOn/Off Loading Controllers, you should be able to:

* Demonstrate an understanding of the FIFO principles.

* Report issues and create one for new deliveries.

* Receive empties and control the manual loading/offloading from un palletized trucks giving a proper reconciliation of daily receptions and dispatches.

* Ensure quantities loaded on trucks are exactly what is found on the loading instruction.

* Identify the different production batches loaded on trucks.

* Demonstrate 5 S principles around the loading and the offloading zone.

* Report weekly and monthly on shortages encountered during the loading of unpalletised trucks.

CAPABILITIES

You will need to have:

* Proven capability in logistics inventory control.

* Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions.

* Analytical and interpretative skills within a highly dynamic process environment.

TASK

WEBDEV Foundation is seeking for online volunteers who can assist the organisation in designing promotional and informative materials such as flyers, posters, and brochures. WEBDEV Foundation shall support the volunteer in providing the necessary material needed for work such as texts and photos every time the volunteer is in need of them.

We need to print education and sensitization materials to use to educate people in the above mentioned initiatives.

Volunteers will be searching online website for grant/donation in accordance with the project.
- Volunteers will be looking for NGOs who can support us with some materials (Laptop, water pomp, entrepreneurial books, flat screen TV, DVD, Camera...)
- volunteers will help draft letters and correspondence for the sponsorship request.
- Volunteer will provide us necessary information to apply with our "summer 2013" project Proposal (they will not be asked to submit proposals on our behalf).

The Project will be held in Bangoua and Babouantou villages with physical volunteers from July 1st to August 31st 2013.
Timeframe for online work: November 10th, 2012 to May 30, 2013.
Duration of online work: 6,5months
Organisation of online work: 2 online meetings per week: at the begining and at the end of week to evaluate and setup new goals.
Meeting by skype.
All online volunteer will receive full information about the project itself and updates.

This online research for Grant and donation will help us deliver the project because we need the financial and material support as far is not easy here in Cameroon to get it. And we can not be efficient or deliver a project without ressources. We already have human ressources for the projects and also expertise because we have realized already two summer projects in those two villages.

The project aim to educate people in field of Entrepreneurship (business plan creation process), HIV/AIDS peer educators training and community sensitization, Water point rehabilitation, Computer training for youth to empower the community. We by work of online volunteers; wish to fundraise 5000USD (or equivalent in funds materials/logistics donations. this will give chance to youths in the villages to be train on recent knowledges on the4 topics.

We are looking for a Financial Controller who will ensure that financial performance is improved in all areas reflected and guarantee an environment of effective controls and compliance in programme offices (PO). The incumbent will also develop and roll out training, tools and support for finance staff and other staff on finance and control topics. Location:

Yaounde, Cameroon Country Programme Office

Main responsibilities:

Ensures effective implementation of all adopted financial policies, procedures and legal requirements in the programme;
Streamlines financial processes and procedures in the Programme, and promote or implements new financial initiatives and requirements;
Ensure that the review of PO trial balances is done timely and corrections are made when necessary;
Conducts regular reviews at PO field projects to identify control gaps and areas of non-compliance with PO policies and procedures;

What you need:

Required Qualifications

Accounting certifications (ACCA, CPA) and/or Master Degree in international business or finance, business administration and management.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience in finance or accounting is essential. This must include at least two (2) years of management experience working in multicultural and decentralized teams. An experience in NGO and/or international organization and the knowledge of WWF's network will be an asset.

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of financial issues, including financial reporting, controlling and budgeting;
Excellent knowledge of financial management and related control policies;
Strong analytical skills;
Good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office package especially MS Excel, and of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software ;

DUTIES
