West Africa Regional Organizational Development Manager

Accountabilities & Objectives

Work with Gabon & Cameroon management in the design and implementation of programs and systems that will best optimize people, strategy, structure, processes and culture to support long-term growth.

This role will focus on the delivery of various people projects and the incumbent will:

? work collaboratively with the overall HR community within Addax to develop, design and implement various learning programs,
? work with leaders in the organization to develop programs and solutions to motivate staff, and
? train senior leaders and business managers to develop leadership skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

? Facilitate optimum utilization of resources (methods, machines, materials, money and people through effective management to accomplish desired results)
? Provide coaching processes and leadership interventions
? Support in Talent Management and development (competencies profiling, etc) and succession planning activities.
? Assess training needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and HR
? Diagnose organizational problem areas and assist in the development of tools for the efficiency of staff
? Develop and implement HR programs and best practices across all aspects of HR disciplines, including:
o Talent Management
o Performance Management
o Succession Planning
o Competency Assessment and Assurance
o Profiles Management
o Organization Development
o Change Management
o Organization Development & Human Resources Strategic & Business Planning
? Facilitate team building sessions
? Train, coach and mentor national staff

Education, Training and Qualifications

Essential ? University degree in Business, Human Resources or Social Sciences
Desirable ? Certification or designation in Human Resources

Knowledge and Experience Essential

? 10+ years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
? Solid working knowledge of the major elements of human resources and their respective systems and processes
? Proven track record in Organizational Development and managing relevant projects
? Time worked as an expatriate or in the administration of expatriate Human Resources
? International experience
? Familiarity with working in multinational/multicultural environment

Desirable ? Experience in West Africa

Essential ? Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal, for both inside and outside the company)
? Ease of building strong working relationships at all levels, both internal and external
? Self-motivated with strong commitment to results
? Strong analytical skills
? Must be dynamic and innovative in solving problems and in handling tasks and responsibilities
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Strong time management skills with ability to manage  priorities
