Job Title: West Africa/Central Africa Demand Planner
Department: Supply
Reporting to: ARM Supply Chain Spirits Manager, West Africa

PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the role is to own the Demand Planning and S&OP process for WACA. This requires ownership of the agreed plan between all relevant entities of the business, mainly supply and markets, to ensure that all partners and functions are communicating effectively and delivering one plan.
Also the incumbent will be required to drive and improve the supply chain for WACA Markets. Priority will be given to 3 key markets Gabon, DRC and Ivory Coast.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain or related field
* APICS qualification in inventory management an advantage
* Minimum of 4 years experience, with 2 years in a similar environment
* Two years of focused experience in finished goods planning and procurement
ACCOUNTABILITIES
AsWest Africa/Central Africa Demand Planner, you should be able to:
· Generate and drive alignment of the 18 months rolling and 3 years demand forecast.
· Own and drive the S & OP process for WACA Markets focusing on Gabon, DRC and Ivory Coast.
· Manage stocks at the customer’s premises and liaise with the commercial team to identify potential OOS, over stocking, or breaches of contract (as per mandatory) referring to no. of weeks of stock in the market.
· Ensure successful introduction and availability of new products / promotions/gifting in support of customer off-take
· Influence and engage with Senior internals and externals stakeholders
· lead the business in order to make analytical and factual business decisions
· Manage the phasing in and out of products during its product life cycle with no negative impact on the ‘100% Order Fill each day everyday’ stand
· Deliver monthly performance KPI’s & progress reports on improvement actions implemented where necessary
· Build strong relationships internally and externally.
-Develop strong and solid customer collaboration in following Markets: Gabon, DRC, Ivory Coast
-engage with Marketing, sales
-collaborate with agents, customers
-coordinate relevant information with different entities
CAPABILITIES
You will need to have:
· Proven understanding of Supply Chain, Planning, Scheduling and Logistics concepts
· Understanding of figures at SKU, Brand and Market level
· Challenges conventional thinking
· New performance and customer service mentality
· High degree of quantitative and analytical skills
· Strong familiarity with planning and transactional systems
· High degree of quantitative and analytical skills
· Facilitation experience
· An ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and French
