Maintenance Lead - Cameroon

The Role:
Responsible for ensuring that all Production facilities and systems are available for use and are working within the specified availability to safely meet production targets and other key performance targets and to comply with the terms and conditions stated in the Gas Sales Agreement and the Metering Manual. To ensure staff are trained in Production and Safety techniques and are competent to support production requirements.
(a)Reporting to the Area Supervisor, to provide technical support to ensure the Production facilities, systems, equipment, plant and associated systems are in a safe and effective condition.
(b)Responsible for performing and recording safety and production activities as required.
(c)Supporting Maintenance with breakdown repairs whenever required and being pro-active in identifying opportunities to improve plant, machinery reliability and performance.
(d)Respond as appropriate to plant upsets and emergencies.
(e)Reporting faults on plant and equipment to ensure maximum production and plant / equipment availability.
(f)Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices in and around the plant, protection of the environment to be considered at all times.
(g)Provide technical support with modifications and new equipment installations.
(h)Assist with the skills development of trainee technicians with hands-on training and coaching.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship and education should be to the British equivalent of MSC, in a Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical Process Control or Measurement discipline.
Extensive experience in Operations and Safety in an onshore/offshore high pressure hydrocarbon process plant.
Experience of working within the strict limitations of a Permit To Work system.
Good Team Building Skills.
1.Extensive experience in Oil and Gas Maintenance working in the onshore/offshore hydrocarbon or petrochemical industry in a Production/Safety Supervisory capacity. Familiar with the relevant codes and practises applicable to both Safety and Production.
2.Ability to work as part of a small multi disciplined team.
3.Ability to communicate with senior staff, generate reports and be able to interpret technical drawings and documents.
4.Knowledge of production equipment associated with the Gas Industry and electrical and calibration systems.
5.Numerate and computer literate, with an understa
