Job Title: Planning Manager, Guinness Cameroon
Department: Supply
Reporting to: Head of Customer Delivery

PURPOSE
Balance the needs of demand and supply to ensure high and consistent customer service, set against a background of changing demand forecasts and requirements for changed processes, systems and a new more effective organisation. The process covers all activities from short-term scheduling to long term planning.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· University Degree or graduate calibre.
· Holding APICS supply chain qualification or in progress to achieving supply chain, logistics qualification.
· 5 years experience in a similar role.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
AsPlanning Manager, Guinness Cameroon, you should be able to:
· Translate demand plans into tactical supply plans
· Ensure adequate stock cover of key raw materials and components to support and deliver overall production plans to meet customer and consumer demands.
· Liaise with production sites to optimise supply chain opportunities and create overall value within the chain.
· Develop and maintain an effective relationship with Demand Planning to ensure that supply constraints are understood in Demand and that Demand requirements are understood in Supply to drive cross - functional alignment.
CAPABILITIES
You will need to have:
· Excellent analytical I.T. and numerical skills, to exploit benefits of MRP (Manugistics or Demand Solutions) software.
· Outstanding team influencing and inter personal skills.
· Fundamental knowledge of the supply process from procurement to brewing/ packaging, distribution and market requirements.
· Generation of spreadsheets, building of models and ability to quickly understand complex I.T. systems like Manugistics.
· Good implementation skills
· Ability to understand and learn
· Strong problem solving ability and skills to influence key stakeholders to take business versus functional decisions.
You will also need to be:
· Good communicator.
· Passionate with process improvement and attention to detail.
· Good completer/finisher and able to work under pressure to complete tasks on time and in line with overall planning processes.
· Computer literate (SAP),
· Fluent English and French
