Lutech Resources have been asked by our client, an International Company, to provide an Offshore Surveyor (Naval Architect/Marine Engineer) for a role based in Cameroon.
Position Summary – To examine and report on vessels and other marine structures during and after construction in compliance with standards and requirements to maintain vessel/structures in accordance with their classification. Perform work that involves potentially complex problem resolution. Visit vessels, marine structures and manufacturers. Prepare reports for clients. Work directly with clients to identify and resolve problems in your area of expertise.
Skills Required – A degree of equivalent from a recognised institution within Engineering/Science, or relevant qualifications from a marine/nautical institution. Working knowledge of computer programs and software packages related to area of expertise. Knowledge of rules, regulations and safety at sea. Ability to read engineering plans and have a basic understanding of shipbuilding practices and vessel and operations.
