Country Operations Manager

We have two live-in positions available in Cameroon and Gabon.

Main Purpose:
To manage, efficiently and safely, all aspects of Expro's business in Gabon with focus on delivery to the customer, starting at the pre-job planning stage and ending on satisfactory close out of all points from the post job evaluation meeting. To assist in developing a profitable and sustainable business in the country.

Principal Accountabilities:

Ensure all necessary resources are available in a timely manner to safely and efficiently provide services to the client.

Liaise with senior operational staff in country to ensure that the jobs are performed safely, with the correct equipment and as per procedure and planning.

Maintain contact with the relevant staff during the job to ensure no shortfalls or lack of procedure.

Liase closely with the Area Manager on operational issues effecting profitability, safety and overall Expro performance.

Ensure adherence by all Expro personnel in Gabon to Expro QHSE policies and procedures.

Ensure that equipment is available and fit for use at all times by supervision of the base maintenance programme.

Interpret client's work programme and instruct service field personnel to carry out the specific programme correctly and competently.

Advise client on potential equipment limitations with respect to the requirements of the Work programme. Organise and attend client daily meetings.

Ensure that all operational and QHSE reports relevant to operations are completed in a timely manner and forwarded to management accordingly.

Ensure that all relevant paperwork is approved and available to allow prompt end of month invoicing to the client.

Experience: -  Must come from operational background either, Wireline, Well Test, Subsea or DST;-  Must have at least 2 years Managerial experience;-  Must be willing to relocate and live-in either Gabon or Cameroon.-  French will be an advantage.Offshore, Subsea, Operations oil and gas, Management, Oil and Gas, Wireline, WellheadBachelors Degree or equivalent, Direct Experience or equivalent
