Be a great business partner in the support of the GM and wider Exec in order to deliver a transformational business performance and to drive overall functional agenda. Ensure the business operates to the highest level of corporate governance as well as meeting all wider group and local fiduciary reporting requirement.  Step change the departments functional and leadership capabilities.

· CIMA; ACCA, MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred

· A proven track record of building and leading high performing teams and achievement of stretching goals with at least 5-7 years experience preferably in a multi-market environment

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The PMIO Finance Director will able to:

· Provide the business with clear financial direction - Champion BPM mechanisms that identify key business issues, provide performance information against a clear Plan, including 3rd party depletions. Building and maintaining robust cross-functional relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally and provide commercial insights and financial direction to the GM and exec teams.  

· Drive Decision Support agenda aiming to maximise value and opportunities across the Hub – including New Business Development, great M&E, RTM and value chain optimisation and pricing decisions. 
· Drive the simplification and standardisation of the back office policies and processes across the region including ERP system upgrades where necessary and create efficient solutions to back office needs as the markets expand. Work closely with the Africa Shared Service team to look at opportunities to leverage the Nairobi set-up. All in service of delivering the required level of control, transparency and robust and timely reporting quality; as well as delivering required local statutory requirements.  

· Inspire and motivate the finance team to achieve at the high level. Further develop leadership capabilities within the team.

· Sensitive to performance communications - to provide alignment & clarity of company performance to various internal and external stakeholders.

· Industry knowledge and understanding preferred.
