Our Client A Multinational Oil and Gas Company with global operations. Our client has a current requirement for an Accounting Manager to work in Cameroon on a permanent basis. MUST be a Cameroon National on this occasion.
Job Description Responsible for financial reporting for French Africa countries. Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities
Candidate Requirements - BS /Master in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Five (5) to seven (7) years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Experience working in an accounting/audit firm or professional services firm is preferred. Experience with, J.D. Edwards or other large automated accounting system a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required. Fluent in French and English.
