Job Title: Sales Ordering Coordinator

PURPOSE

* Convert customer orders into Sales orders in the system

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Higher National Diploma in Business or related field as accounting.

* At least one year of sales or commercial experience and one year of Sales Order Processing experience preferably in an Africa based multinational.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Sales Ordering Coordinator, you should be able to:

* Establish and continuously seek to improve the relation with GCSA customers, Field Sales Managers and supply chain department

* Enter orders from Purchase Plan into the transactional system with 100% accuracy and proactively resolve stock related issues;

* Proactively manage promotional stock allocations ensuring maximum take up of allocation.

* Process Stock Transfer Order or Returns Order (Sales Ordering Coordinator) with 100% accuracy

* Efficiently and proactively manage empties uplift orders

* Compute sundry sales in the system

* Resolve potential issues around the order capture process.

* Maximise sales and cash flow by a timely management of orders

* Ensure that extra-transactions with customers are adequately measured and recorded into the system (Free beers, promotional beers, allowances…)

* Consolidate figures on daily basis and issues order status report to sales people for operation follow-up

* Follow-up sales order transactions in the system to completion « Zero Open Items on Weekly Basis »

* Provide information in case of a requirement from any Business’s stakeholders

· Identify commonly occurring blockage reasons and liaise with customer service/data administration to produce solutions to reduce the number of blocked documents

* Liaise with relevant departments to resolve errors.

CAPABILITIES

You will need to have:

* High standard of integrity

* Excellent communication skills.

* Good commercial awareness (finance, sales, marketing and cost base)

* Comprehensive understanding of business operations

* Good knowledge of GCSA and its products

* Good knowledge of field sales operations

* Excellent negotiation skills

You will also need to be:

* Bilingual English / French

* A good user of office software

* Able to interact with a diverse client base, sales office counterparts and provide an outstanding level of customer service

* Robust, flexible, and able to sustain pressure from work

* Sociable, approachable and tactful

* Able to cope with confidential matters

* Order processing in SAP
