Job Responsibilities:

1) Develop Client Relationships

*
Lead the business relationship between Nielsen and the client
*
Drive collaborative one voice engagements to solve client business issues
*
Penetration of senior decision makers across clients’ functional teams
*
Contribute to the Strategic Account Planning process and vision for the client
*
Work with the Regional Client Business Partners to set Nielsen’s go to market strategy for the client locally
*
Proactively resolve client issues by engaging other Nielsen support groups as needed

2) Drive Team Performance

*
Direct the day to day work of local team members
*
Coaching, mentoring, and staff development of local client teams
*
Drive actionable recommendations that are aligned to client business issues
*
Lead value addition processes and results and facilitate plans for performance improvement

3) Revenue generation

*
Responsible for overall local revenue targets including renewal and fulfillment of locally contracted revenue
*
Identify revenue growth opportunities and coordinate business development effort, at the local level

4) Cost Leadership

*
Manages local contract negotiation processes with client(s) to ensure profitable outcomes
*
Supports regional contract negotiation
*
Partners with local product leadership and RCBP to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency
*
Support the implementation of cost leadership solutions across the teams

A University degree preferably in a business related field; an MBA or Masters degree is preferred but not mandatory

A minimum of 3-4 years senior management experience in a challenging and professional business environment

Proven account management experience including consultative engagement is essential
*
Knowledge of CPG industry, both manufacturer and retailer would be an added advantage
*
General understanding and use of Nielsen products and services (and general market research techniques) would also be an added advantage
*
Ability to clearly explain analytical techniques to non expert audiences is a key requirement
*
Team leadership affinity is important
*
Ability to work seamlessly across borders and speak fluent French and English
