Deputy Project manager (Mining)

Manages the site and verify that all construction work conforms to the project engineering. Coordinates the overall work effort to maintain the schedule and budget. Manages emergency response on site. Responsible for the control and operation of the site traffic systems. Responsible for the effective management of security. Manages heritage and environmental protection. Interprets specifications to execute and plan procedures and completion times and staffing requirements. Directs subcontractors and supervisory personnel engaged in planning and executing work procedures & interpreting specifications. Oversees labour representatives and supervisory personnel to resolve grievances . Manages inspectors, supervisory engineering personnel and suppliers. Inspects work in progress to so that work conforms to specifications. Prepares or reviews reports on progress & materials.
