Business Development Manager (Analyst) Corporate Finance

This market leader in the Pharmaceuticals industry is seeking the expertise of a CA with Corporate Finance experience whom specializes in deal related services, due diligence investigations, valuations, lead advisory services, transaction structuring and advice on the application of the JSE listing requirements.

The business development team:
operates closely and is located within the executive office. The profile and capabilities of staff will be known at the highest levels in the business
report to the CEO and CFO directly and this will provide members with exposure to high level thinking and strategies of the business.
high profile team and tasked with transforming the business through M&A.
works across the business with deals ranging from R50m to R5bn
will acquire business in markets across the world, focusing on emerging markets

If you have aspirations of moving into more senior financial positions within industrial type companies then this is a good starting place.

Qualification:

CA (SA) with CFA ? is advantageous

KPA?s and Experience needed for this role:
Assistance with setting up Internal Corporate Finance department, including procedures, budgets, identification of risks and controls
Managing transactions and transaction teams across Africa and SA
Preparation of proposals and other marketing documentation
Preparation of company valuations, financial models and developing financial solutions
Regular dealing with senior staff to encourage engagement pipeline growth
Oversight and management of engagement pipeline
Participation in IPOs, bond listings, rights issues and fund raising exercises
Conduct company-specific research for particular engagements
High level analysis of company financial performance

Skills Required:
Financial Forecasting and modeling
