Job Description
::Responsible for the first article submission and approval between supplier and customer by ensuring the quality of the first article submission sample, document package and the deadline commitment to customer timeline.?
.??????????Work with customer in understanding their requirement and drawing specifications for items/ components / sub-assemblies to be localized from customer.
.??????????Work with supplier in guiding, reviewing, and verifying samples for supplier first article submission for items / components / sub-assemblies to be localized for customer.
.???????????Maintain the database / system for first article report, first article/ golden sample and first article status.
.???????????Support Sourcing Engineer in Cost Reduction Program.
.???????????Generate Inspection Plan Criteria for newly approved items.
.???????????Facilitate discussion with supplier from time to time on major quality issues with regards to newly approved items.
.??????????Work with Site and Suppliers on the smooth implementation engineering changes and supports the sourcing engineers in cost verification.

Job Requirements
::Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Process Technology with at least 2 years' relevant experience
.??????????Hands-On knowledge and experience in manufacturing process technology with emphasis in precision machining and sheet metal. Experience with electro- mechanical parts such as cable assemblies will be advantageous.
.??????????Hands-on knowledge/experience in Metrology and Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
??????????????Candidate should be well conversant with measuring equipments like CMM and smarscope.
.???????????Experience in process audit and certification for ISO13485 and FDA21CFR Part 820 preferred.
.??????????Ability to interpret within established procedures and practices as well as exercise independent judgment in complex situations
.??????????Good team player who is independent and self motivated
.??????????Willing to travel occasionally
