Position Summary You will assist in the development of short and long range business plans for the product line consistent with market needs and corporate strategic plans. You will also assist in the development of product promotional items including trade shows, product literature, training, and distribution plans to achieve Business Plan objectives for assigned products. You will assist in the preparation of marketing development requests as appropriate and product pricing policies based on established gross margin improvement where necessary. You will also perform competitive analysis for new and existing products and work closely with global cross-functional teams. You will conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations as well as company's policies and procedures. You will also support product life cycle management as directed by Product Marketing Manager and assist in the definition and communication of market and customer requirements through interaction with project teams, business teams and other department to maximize market success. You will support product development teams within the business and ensure thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct.
Minimum Qualifications . Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
. Min 5 years experience in Industrial Automation industry, with regional sales and marketing experience
. Good knowledge of Automation / Process related industry is essential
. Regional Sales and Marketing experience is high preferred. Non-sales candidates with good commercial exposure can be considered.
. Demonstrated strong ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in different functions, in different geography
. Strong desire to learn and take on responsibilities.
. Independent, able to grasp both technical and commercial issues well
