Payroll Administrator


Our client, an international leader in the oil and gas industry, seeks to add a member to its fast growing team as a "Payroll Administrator," in Cameroon. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years working experience in a similar position and an accounting background. The incumbent will be responsible for administering the company?s payroll system.

This position is based in Yaound?, Cameroon, as such all applicants must be willing to relocate or should be residents of Cameroon.

Responsibilities include:
? Coordinates and manages all payroll functions.
? Checks and audits all payroll functions, ensuring legislative & award compliance (tax compliance, social contribution, etc.).
? Observes confidentiality legislation.
? Assists in the training and development of new employees.
? Acts in accordance with all company policies.
? Regularly maintains the payroll database.
? Creates reports for the use of all interested parties.
? Manages the refund of benefits.
? Ensures taxable items are properly coded.
? Carries out any other duties as required by supervising staff.

? A Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
? A background in accounting or finance is a strong advantage.
? Must have working knowledge of payroll systems.
? Must be highly analytical and have excellent problem solving skills.

Location: Yaound?, Cameroon

Salary: Compensation is competitive, and relocation assistance will be included.
