Exploration Manager (Iron Ore)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exploration manager to work in Cameroon for an AIM listed British development company which specializes in iron ore exploration in Africa.

My client is recruiting for an exploration manager with previous iron ore experience to oversee and manage the company’s exploration work within Cameroon.

Duties will include:
•Oversee all in country exploration work
•Planning and supervising all work programmes.
•Coordinate technical exploration
•Report to board members and technical director.
•Working with operations and logistics teams.

To be considered for this role the successful candidate will possess the following:

•Extensive years relevant exploration experience.
•Excellent leadership qualities and senior level managerial skills.
•Gold exploration experience.
•Previous experience working in tropical African terrains.
•Proven I.T skills in software such as MapInfo
•Good reporting skills.
•Proven planning skills in implementing work programmes.
