SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (PROCESS)

West Africa

Our Client is a mining company that operates its main Mine in West Africa. They also have a large array of exciting exploration projects and strong professional management teams across the board.

They are looking for strong Senior Project Engineers to join this successful team in French speaking West Africa.

ROLE PURPOSE

Project Management and Construction is involved in all aspects of projects development from planning, feasibility studies, to design, construction and commissioning of MINERAL PROCESSING PLANT and infrastructure. The Senior Project Process Engineer needs to effectively manage the project design into the field by managing the team, controlling costs, effective planning / scheduling the aspects of the construction of the various parts of the projects and ensuring compliance with quality and safety systems

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Extensive experience in construction management and / or equivalent experience in managing large and complex projects.
· Knowledge of all phases of building construction for process plants
· Experience in construction trades and superintendent roles.
· Knowledge of building materials, tools and machines including building material costs and wages.
· Prior experience in Microsoft Project for scheduling.
· Relevant experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management environment. Experience in contracts administration for projects.

ESSENTIAL

Well-developed written and oral skills in French and English.

Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years in design & a proven track record of responsibility for process plant construction.
