1. Duties and responsibilities

SNV Cameroon provides advisory services to councils and water management authorities for a better access to safe drinking water to the poorest strata of the population. We also strengthen communication between different stakeholders in water sector so that the voice of end users and marginalized can be taken into account in water supply policies at national and local levels. This is done through dialogues platforms and concerted actions amongst. Improving the management and maintenance system will lead to improved access of household to safe drinking water at affordable price.
In this context, SNV Cameroon is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in for the position of Sector Leader for WaSH, who will be responsible for profiling and positioning the WaSH sector in Cameroon and delivering capacity development services to a range of government, non-government and private sector clients at national and international level with particular emphasis on analysis/diagnosis, public-private partnerships, inclusive approaches and improving governance of the sector.
Responsibilities:

Fellows will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Teach New Media Advocacy classes to young people a maximum of five afternoons a week and Saturdays (Oct - June) using YAN curriculum that includes lessons in email, social networking, web-based research, basic website design, podcasting and video production Maintain YAN's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and YAN blog) Coordinate the YAN summer internship program for advanced students, including teaching a weekly advanced topics seminar for participants (June - July)Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work independently Previous experience in the developing world or a demonstrated interest in development Previous experience working with young people Basic knowledge of Windows Movie Maker, podcasting and website design using Wordpress Comfortable with difficult living conditions, including but not limited to hit-or-miss availability of electricity and running water Advanced Information Technology skills and/or French skills desiredJoint applications of two people wishing to work together encouraged.
Housing is provided. Fellows are responsible for travel, visas, travel insurance and living expenses (living expenses run appx. $300/month). YAN will make every attempt to aid fellows in their fundraising efforts. This year's fellows were able to raise over 5,500 dollars.
Past fellows have gone on to work at the United Nations, Education for Employment and the Squaxin Island Tribe.

Is required to be a dedicated Competency Assessor and drive the system in the field to ensure overall participation. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability of operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and ensures compliance with all applicable HSE procedures and regulations in his/her area of responsibility. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process. Skills are typically acquired through a high school diploma or similar education and 2 years experience as a Service Specialist III-Sampling or 9 years of Sampling experience including the role as a supervisor for multiple service lines.

Track vital components - and a path to success.
People, equipment and materials are vital components in the territories that comprise Halliburton's Natural Work Area's (multiple districts). As a Service Coordinator, you are responsible for assessing the service delivery requirements and coordinating the movement of those vital components. Coordinate the engagement and use of third-party services and equipment within these work areas. Be a leader to those on a job and/or in a resource planning role. Your technical and operational expertise is essential to resolving customers' service delivery problems. A desire for variety in working conditions is essential, as this job ccasionally involves outside work and may include routine travel.
A bachelor's degree in Production and Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar discipline; and minimum of five years experience in Product Service Line (PSL) field operations, including experience in a Technical Planner role are required for this position. However,10-12 years of Product Service Line (PSL) field operations experience, including experience in a Technical Planner role, may be substituted in lieu of the undergraduate degree requirement. Possession of intermediate SAP Order-To-Cash (OTC) skills also required.
