Under general supervision, maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, sand conveyor systems, air compressors, micro processor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mobile/overhead cranes, wellhead attachments and pressure equipment, gearboxes, PTO's, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, rims, tires and wheels, forklifts, A/C systems, and a variety of other energy services equipment. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on Halliburton equipment. Performs inspections required by the company, and government entities. Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Technical School certificate. Must possess a valid driver's license.

PURPOSE

· To produce Guinness products at customer service levels, quality conformance and within budget.
· To apply technical, process, continuous improvement and individual/team development skills to optimise overall brewery improvement and plant performance.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· DUT or HND in appropriate Engineering discipline with 03 (three) years experience/competence in Operations, Maintenance, Process Control and Performance Measurement in a brewery or drinks or food manufacturing environment.
· Ideally have an appropriate qualification in Brewing, Packaging, Engineering or Utilities (as appropriate) and/or a nationally recognised technical qualification
ACCOUNTABILITIES

AsElectrical Shift Technician - Packaging, you should be able to:

· Provide a comprehensive production service on plant and equipment to which they are primarily allocated: operating and cleaning, carrying out maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns, assessing & monitoring plant performance on an ongoing basis and attending to all other process duties in a timely manner.
· Utilise and apply safe systems of working and pro-actively seek opportunities to improve work environment.
· Deliver best possible plant operation by maximising plant availability and efficiency of operation through execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules. Interface with SAP as appropriate.
· Optimise product quality, through continuous observation and attention to detail, delivering RFT on quality and control parameters. Respond to non-conformances in a timely manner to keep process on track. Apply record & share learning’s to prevent re-occurrence.
· Manage materials, components and spares required by their plant and equipment – includes draw down stock from locally provided “bins” and be accountable for whatever stock is drawn down.
· Demonstrate flexibility in terms of availability, attitude and work practices, and assist colleagues

You will need to have:
· Good time management skills.

* Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions.

* Analytical, interpretative and decision making skills within a highly dynamic process environment.

· Interpersonal and communication skills at all levels (internal and external)

Job Profile

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, He will assist the Maintenance Engineer in coordinating maintenance and repair contracts at service stations, terminals and implementation of other Projects and Maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning and coordinating all maintenance works at the terminal.
* Updates depot asset records.
* Preparing and Implementing Engineering maintenance programmes in liaison with the Maintenance Engineer.
* Preparing Bills of quantities and quotations analysis for tendering.
* Supervising terminal projects and maintenance works and report to the terminal manager, Projects Engineer and Maintenance Engineer at the Head office.
* Coordinating all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security issues at the terminal.

* A minimum of national diploma in Engineering from a reputable college.
* Must have at least two years experience in maintenance

Job Profile

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, He will assist the Maintenance Engineer in coordinating maintenance and repair contracts at service stations, terminals and implementation of other Projects and Maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning and coordinating all maintenance works at the terminal.
* Updates depot asset records.
* Preparing and Implementing Engineering maintenance programmes in liaison with the Maintenance Engineer.
* Preparing Bills of quantities and quotations analysis for tendering.
* Supervising terminal projects and maintenance works and report to the terminal manager, Projects Engineer and Maintenance Engineer at the Head office.
* Coordinating all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security issues at the terminal.

Requirement

* A minimum of national diploma in Engineering from a reputable college.
* Must have at least two years experience in maintenance
* Have strong knowledge in project Management.
* Highly computer literate including Auto card.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Impeccable standards of personal integrity.

Factory Engineer, Technician Jobs FMCG Company Salary 30K.

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing firm requires a factory engineer/ technician. Reporting to the production manager, the successful applicant will lead the plant and civil works team in ensuring buildings, plant, machinery and equipment are maintained to optimum levels of serviceability at all times.

Particular Responsibilities Include:
* Design and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Facilitate corrective repairs and maintenance
* Participate in the implementation of construction projects
* Track equipment usage in various departments
* Inventory management for all equipment and repair parts
* Ensure implementation of service contracts
* Train user departments in equipment use
* Facilitate energy management and operational cost control programs
* Effectively lead the staff in the team in achieving objectives

Qualifications and Experience:
*Diploma or a Higher National Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
* At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing set up.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
* Computer literate.

Salary Gross of K’sh 30,000.
