Position:  Factory Inventory Accountant – FMCG
Reporting To:   Senior Manager – Inventory Management
 Company Profile: One of the largest manufacturers of high quality edible vegetable oils & fats, margarine, and laundry & toilet soaps in the East and Central African region
 Job Purpose: The jobholder will be fully in charge of all factory accounting including control of all materials inwards/outwards movements, BOM monitoring, Product costing and management of periodic stock takes process
 Prepare, Coordinate and manage stock take processMonitor materials usage against standard costs and perform relevant usage/volume/price variance analysisEnsure accurate and timely preparation of all materials movement and inter stores/location transfers during production processManage product manufacturing process in the accounting software to ensure that the stock ledgers accurately reflect actual factory production processManage timely and accurate product costing process for all productsMonitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock positions.Review materials usage/costs and guide in establishment of standard costs.Lead factory budgeting, budgetary control and forecasting process.Timely periodic preparation/review all stock related reconciliationsMonitoring GRN account and prepare account reconciliationCalculation of landed costs for inward materialsEnsure accurate overhead absorption in product costing processIdentification and enforcement of cost saving opportunities/action plansDegree in Business related studies Fully qualified accountant – CPA(K)/ACCAAt least 8 years experience, 5 of which must be in factory and cost accounting for a busy manufacturing concern.Sound knowledge on product process costing including standard costing and variance analysisHands on experience in an ERP environment.Highly energetic, eager to learn and with special attention to detailTo apply for this position send your CV to mycv@myjobseye.com quoting the position in the subject line and preferred location. Kindly also mention your current/ last salary and benefits. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

Factory Engineer, Technician Jobs FMCG Company Salary 30K.

Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing firm requires a factory engineer/ technician. Reporting to the production manager, the successful applicant will lead the plant and civil works team in ensuring buildings, plant, machinery and equipment are maintained to optimum levels of serviceability at all times.

Particular Responsibilities Include:
* Design and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Facilitate corrective repairs and maintenance
* Participate in the implementation of construction projects
* Track equipment usage in various departments
* Inventory management for all equipment and repair parts
* Ensure implementation of service contracts
* Train user departments in equipment use
* Facilitate energy management and operational cost control programs
* Effectively lead the staff in the team in achieving objectives

Qualifications and Experience:
*Diploma or a Higher National Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
* At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing set up.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
* Computer literate.

Salary Gross of K’sh 30,000.
