Legal Officer Enforcement – Re- Advertisement - HCA/LOE/1/2013
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Investigations and Enforcement, the selected candidate will be responsible for:Reviewing investigation reports on violations of the capital market regulatory framework and recommend appropriate enforcement action;Providing legal interpretations on applicable law;Continuous development of the Enforcement Manual;Maintaining a database of and providing reports and updates on the enforcement actions undertaken by the Authority;Liaising with external counsel representing the Authority in all judicial proceedings connected to enforcement of capital markets regulatory framework;All other incidental functions as may be assigned from time to time.Required Qualifications, Competencies & Experience:Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree andAn advocate of the High Court of Kenya;A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Commercial law or litigation;Excellent report writing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.Procurement Officer–HCA/ PO/2/2013

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Surveillance, the selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring and conducting market surveillance operations on a broad range of securities transactions focusing on unfair security dealings such as manipulation of stock prices and insider trading that may cause damage to shareholders rights.
The main responsibilities include;Carry out real time surveillance of day-to-day stock exchange operations including the transactions of securities undertaken through the central depository and settlement corp. and provide an early warning alert on the potential risks faced by market participants.Examine stock transactions showing irregular movements based on day-to-day surveillance of market movements and information obtained from various sources.Examine daily transactions and analyze stocks whose prices have surged or plunged during a relatively short period of time taking into account actual percentage variances and the impact it may create on stockholders.Conduct preliminary investigation to trace the causation of unusual trading patterns.Required Qualifications, Competencies & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Commerce, Economics, statistics or in a business related field.A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience gained from money and capital markets or relevant financial organizations with a strong focus on compliance and market regulation.Must possess strong IT skills, analytical skills and strong work ethics.Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and be able to adapt to changing needs of the organization.Senior Officer – Strategy and Policy – HCA/SOSP/6/2013

GENERAL SUMMARY
Defines and resolves problems encountered by users with corporate information systems by acting as a liaison between users and technical support resources.  Ensures general operation and availability of LAN/WAN components and personal computer workstations.  Implements hardware and software system upgrades.  Provides support for office and work area build-out services. Provides support for IT processes.  Manages telecommunications systems and communication networks for corporate office.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems encountered with personal computer hardware and peripheralsResolves issues encountered with personal computer-operating systems and software packages.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with Blackberry and supported PDAs.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical network connectivity and network printing issues.Works with vendors and maintenance service providers to diagnose, repair and correct issues for usersBuild and deploy PC systems according to company standards.Awareness of and the ability to troubleshoot basic to intermediate network issues including satellite communications equipmentAbility to travel internationally and work 24x7 on a 28 day rotation.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Financial Analyst Jobs Kenya.

He/she will be assist the Head – Finance & Legal in financial analysis related to business planning & budgeting, business performance monitoring and forecasting, and corporate finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head – Finance & Legal in the analysis of the Company’s financial and operational data to determine performance over prior periods across portfolios, geographies as well as conduct variance analysis to determine gap between planned and actual performance
* Work with the Strategy team to monitor fundamental macroeconomic, industrial, and corporate developments through tracking of financial publications, industry reports, official records, etc. to develop and maintain an understanding of the business environment
* Develop and share with relevant departments reports on industry trends and forecasts with segment analysis and prepare scenarios and outlooks for business in different geographical regions based on such results
* Work with the Strategy team to prepare the financial plan for the Company as part of the business planning process
* Work with the Strategy team to evaluate financial implications of opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, alliances, joint ventures and partnerships on the capital structure of the Company
* Work with the Business Development Managers and Development Managers to prepare business case for new business opportunities identified
* Work with the Head – Finance & Legal, Business Development Managers and Development Managers to prepare project financing strategies and plans for new business opportunities undertaken
* Work with department Heads to prepare annual departmental budgets and forecasts of capital funding requirements, if any

Qualification and experience
* A Master’s degree with major coursework in Finance and/ or Economics; or MBA with specialization in Finance; or a chartered/ public accounting certification
* At least 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis, financial management and/ or corporate
* finance
* Good knowledge of finance, economic and statistical principles and analytical techniques
* High level of analytical ability and accuracy
* Excellent financial modelling skills
* Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel skills
* High degree of facility with the English language

Higher National Diploma in Logistic Management.
1-2 years experience in Logistic, trucks and delivery management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

As Outbound Delivery Analyst, you should be able to:

·         Support the Outbound Delivery Supervisor in Import/ Export Processes

·         Access reports from system to monitor performance and ensure KPIs met for Import/Export Processes


Execute picking process - create transfer order for delivery and confirm
·           Post goods issue

·         Support other orders to cash areas where necessary and appropriate

·         Ensure all orders to cash processes are rated satisfactory in CARM


Manage vehicle utilization and efficiency to achieve target turn round time performance in supporting the downstream supply chain activities
Ensure all recommended documents related to transporters trucks are valid. (Insurance, Publicity tax etc) and report on missing
Report monthly on transporters agreed turn round performance and keep track record on individual performance
Produce monthly reports on trucks status, accidents and ensure discipline within transporters personnel.


Ensure transporters drivers; lorry boys and managers respect GCSA internal rules and regulations.

Senior Sales Analyst Job Vacancy in Kenya (Kshs 180,000)

We are recruiting for our client a multinational manufacture of FMCG, with household brand names in east Africa.

Key responsibilities:
