TASK
Write proposal for apiary development project to create two community tree nurseries, production of 20000 bee loving trees to develop six modern apiaries in six communities to increase honey production/honey bi-products to enhance livelihoods and mitigate climate change. These shall include the support of 50 hives and bee keeping equipment in each community. 619 people are direct beneficiaries 309 men, 310 women (with 170000 inhabitants as indirect beneficiaries with majority of them women).
Volunteers will work from May,June and July 2012. We shall supply them all information needed to accomplish the tasks. They can work as a team as well as individually. Volunteers will either be English or French speakers. Communication will be through email and sometimes on phone.

The goal of MIFACIG is to alleviate poverty through the sustainable management of natural resources in rural area. This involves training people to produce valuable planting material and increase food production while encouraging environmental protection. The mission of MIFACIG is "sharing trees and plants that serve life" Thus, establishing community apiaries with bee loving trees would provide honey and incomes for the people and also help to mitigate climate change
OBJECTIVE
To enhance sustainable livelihood through the and production, consumption and marketing of honey. These would also mitigate climate change.

TASK
The task is to write a project proposal on youth participation in the electoral process in Cameroon.
We are ready to work with the volunteers for as long as it takes to make this project a success. We estimate the project to started by January 2013. we will work closely with the volunteers by providing information from the field, online meetings to access the project etc
Number of volunteers: 2BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The idea of the project comes from the lack of youth participation in elections and different policies for young people to increase their voting participation. The project will take place Cameroon 2012. The project is focusing on training 30 youths from ten regions of Cameroon to take an active role in the political life of the country and to increase ability of youth to evaluate different political parties and their different policies for local area.
OBJECTIVE
Increasing the awareness of the importance of youth participation in democratic processes by registering and voting;Fostering young people to get better consciousness for their decisions in voting;
Understanding the electoral system in Cameroon;
Raising awareness about what democratic and transparent elections are.
Creating creative messages and posters to promote youth participation. These posters will be pasted on major billboards in Cameroon

TASK
Write proposal for a project to introduce intensive horticulture crop production to Primary and Secondary schools of Boyo Division. This will be done through the provision of the necessary factors of production that are not locally available or out of the means of the schools. The project will thus have the following components:
Seeds and equipment for:
i)Horticulture crops (vegetables and fruits)
ii)Agro-forestry trees
Volunteer will develop a proposal and identify donor for it.
Volunteers will work from May,June and July 2012. We shall supply them all information needed to accomplish the tasks. They can work as a team as well as individually. Volunteers will either be English or French speakers. Communication will be through email and sometimes on phone.

MIFACIG uses training as a tool to empower local communities. Therefore, targeting the youths in schools is building a sustainable future for professional farming and environmental protection
OBJECTIVE
To encourage and enhance the production and marketing of garden crops as an income generating measure in seven primary schools and five secondary schools in Boyo Division through participatory demonstration, training and the provision of basic equipment and seed material. These would also create a sustainable future impact on the youths as regards farming and environmental protection .
