TASK

The opportunity is to design projects on agricture. YES will concieve while the volunteer will design and give advise on the projects.

Head of Projects - Cameroon

Apply £80000 to £90000 per annum Extras: Expatriate Allowances Manage, Lead, Supervise and coordinate activity of work force (shared and or dedicated), contractors and consultants engaged and operating (full time and/or part time) on projects (all aspects: HSE, Project Controls, Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning). For resources used from various functional departments: Dual reporting principle (functional reporting to Departments Head, operational reporting to Head of Projects) will be implemented (examples: Project teams responsible for managing Supply Chain Management activities as well as Project Controls activities with resources from functional departments - dual reporting to Department Heads as well as to Project Managers). All Projects managers/engineers (operating on projects) functionally report to Head of projects. Participate as active member of the daily operations meeting and establish a formal working interface process with all other departments. Monitor projects executed by Project Management Team; Approval of key decisions; Initiate gate reviews at end of each phase. Responsible for development of all plans and procedure for projects execution. Standardise project management practices across projects Develop, maintain and deploy project management processes and tools Adhere to segment business, and finance processes. Agree on standards and procedures for cross departmental processes. Strictly follow and implement corporate rules, guidelines and standard Manage, Lead, Supervise and coordinate activity of contractors/consultants/employees taking part in the execution of projects (all aspects: HSE, Project Controls, Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Be the Company Representative or nominating a Company Representative with reference to administrated contracts. Approve all projects economics (prepared by business development group subsurface) and associated justification for projects generation. Ensure that the proper amount and quality of front-end-loading is achieved on projects during stage 1, 2 and FEED to allow for informed decisions and accurate cost/schedule forecasts to be made. Responsible for projects contracting strategy and implementation: Develop project execution strategies and contracting strategies and responsible for their implementation by Project Teams (Project teams lead ITT, qualification/clarification, recommendation, negotiations processes with Supply Chain Group functional support). Finally approve award recommendations. Responsible for project controls, reporting and for implementation of Project Controls tools (under Project Services department guidelines) leading to regular revision of projects budget and baseline and allowing controlled and accurate monitoring of progress and forecasts. Bachelors Degree Hons or equivalent

Senior Projects Officer

Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects from initiation to completion; using maximum and effective utilization of project management tools, techniques, and experience, creativity, and management skills, to reach the predetermined objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and communication to all stake holders of all required project management documentation;Undertake post-launch reviews of all products and services to assess actual market take-up against anticipated take-up;Ensure Project Management processes and procedures are in line with the company’s overall;Ensure that projects expenditure is within approved CAPEX and that projects are finished within the set time;Prepare Project Management reports as agreed from time to time;Review on a weekly basis customer’s feedback on products and services and follow up to ensure closure.Bachelors Degree in business or Technical field – Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized university;At least 2 years work experience in project management with experience to line management or senior engineer level;Experience in managing multiple projects (6 – 12 month duration) simultaneously from start to finish;Good understanding of financial principles, financial ratios with ability to interpret standard financial statements;Good understanding of regulatory framework for mobile operations particularly in the Kenyan environment;Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills;Project Management skills;Must have the ability to work within strict deadlines with minimum supervision.If you meet the requirements and are self driven, proactive and up to the challenge, please send your resume and application letter quoting the job title and reference number to the address below.
