Ably Resources are currently seeking a talented an Offshore Quality Control Coordinator for their vessel which is currently based in Cameroon.

Minimum 7 years experience as a QC Supervisor / Coordinator; OFFSHORE OPERATIONS

• Senior Welding Inspector CSWIP 3.2 Qualification;

• NACE or BGAS Level 2 (Preferred);

• Familiar with CONTRACTOR welding processes preferred;

• Familiar with CONTRACTOR Pipe Tally System (PTS) preferred;

• NDT Knowledge (EN 473 Level II or Equivalent – RT, MT, PT & UT) preferred;

• Computer literate (MS Words, Excels & Outlook etc.);

Conditions

Work pattern – Offshore
Salary – Competitive (Day rate)
Rotation - 56/28 (56 days on duty – 28 days off duty)
7 days/week
12 hours/day

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Represent the Vessel regarding all matters of quality onboard, ensuring the implementation, the management, the improvement and the application of a Quality Management System onboard the assigned vessel and ensure the execution of Quality Control activities onboard during both operations and maintenance / upgrading projectsEnsure implementation of Asset Quality Management System on board, as well as Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in compliance with applicable ISO Quality Standards, Quality Policies, Clients requirements, Rules and Regulations and Corporate/Company documentsSupervise the conformity and the effectiveness of the Vessel and Project Document Management System with respect to the applicable Class, Company Documentation (Manuals, Standards, Procedures, Work Instructions) and Clients requirements as applicable

Required Experience / Qualifications / Attributes:

Technical diploma;Current offshore Survival Certificate;Current CSWIP 3.2 accreditation;Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry as Quality Control Coordinator;Offshore experience;Knowledge of NDT;Good Knowledge of MS Office suite.

Employment Terms:

Long Term Expatriate rotational contract;Competitive day rate + paid travel days;Accommodation;Airfares;Full Medical / Insurance cover.

Start date: As soon as possible, allowing for notice periods. Interviews will shortly take place.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to provide to a reasonable assurance to management onoperativenessof Control Assurance Risk Management (CARM controls), Internal controls & key policies. This will be achieved through regular review and audit of the CARM controls, existing processes and establishment of continuous process improvement. The role also implies review of key Diageo policies requirements and assess the level of compliancevisinternal policies in force
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· Degree level in Accounting and Finance
· Part / Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, INTEC etc) will be an advantage
· At least 2 years experience in internal audit of multination company or firm

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Control Specialist will able to:

· Conduct a quality review over design assessment of CARM controls
· Conduct effectiveness testing of CARM controls
· Prepare a monthly CARM reporting dashboard
? Conduct a spot check a monthly review of Finance Director key controls checklist
? Conduct a quarterly review of business checklist and Gift &Entertainment register
? Prepare an audit plan for all internal controls (including Diageo policies review)
? Prepare audit working paper / testing template for all process under review
? Carry out field review of control evidences / back up, documentation and run internal reports
· Track implementation of Internal / External audit recommendations and Risk footprint actions
? Support in strategic and tactical finance process improvement projects, GAP analysis in SAP
? Design world class procedures / processes on weak areas
CAPABILITIES

You will need to have:
? A Good understanding of Sarbanes/ Oxley requirements
? An ability to manage audit in selected area or process
· A good knowledge of Diageo Cameroon Hub or multinational control environment (including financial and operational procedures)
? An ability to identify process/ controls gaps, business risks and implement improvement
? An excellentorganisationalskills with the ability toprioritise
? Strong customer liaison skills
? Computer literacy and ability to learn new software packages
· An audit or control review experience
• Knowledge in various finance and business processes

You will need also to be:

Ø Client service oriented
Ø Self motivated
Ø Able to work unsupervised
Ø Bilingual and IT literate
