The contract manager will manage all contractual agreements including formal, short form, and annual contracts. S/he will also be responsible for drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution. The position is based in Yaound?, Cameroon.

Responsibilities include:
? Oversees contracts in the Supply Chain department and ensures that they comply with set standards and negotiates an exemption if possible.
? Prepares Supply Chain contracts.
? Guides the team to assess contracts to ascertain assets or liabilities.
? Helps other departments in need, to complete projects.
? Supervises personnel in his sector.
? Liaises with the legal team to settle contract disputes.
? Regularly updates contract files and ensures that proper filing methods are observed.
? Creates and maintains a contract database.
? Audits contracts to ensure compliance and proposes improvements where necessary.
? Ensures contract close-out, extension or renewal.
? Monitors compliance by company employees with established procedures.

? Holds a degree in Contracts Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Business Management or equivalent.
? 5+ years experience in a similar role or related industry is preferred (Legal, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain or Operations).
? Previous experience in Francophone country and familiarity with French laws is required.

The role is mainly based onshore with occasional offshore trips.
The main scopes of work include running completions, sand control, pumping and slickline.
The core activity will be Sand control therefore successful candidates should have extensive knowledge of this area and sufficient experience supervising these type of operations.

The client is really seeking someone who has extensive experience with Gravel Pack operations from design right through. We are looking for someone to really drive the project forwards with their Tooling and Pumping experience.

This is a coordination role so previous project management experience is preferred.
