Contracts Manager-Cameroon

Our client is a large multinational company in the Oil and Gas industry and seeks a Contract Manager to join their team in Cameroon. The contract manager will manage all contractual agreements including formal, short form, and annual contracts. S/he will also be responsible for drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution. The position is based in Yaound?, Cameroon.

Responsibilities include:
? Oversees contracts in the Supply Chain department and ensures that they comply with set standards and negotiates an exemption if possible.
? Prepares Supply Chain contracts.
? Guides the team to assess contracts to ascertain assets or liabilities.
? Helps other departments in need, to complete projects.
? Supervises personnel in his sector.
? Liaises with the legal team to settle contract disputes.
? Regularly updates contract files and ensures that proper filing methods are observed.
? Creates and maintains a contract database.
? Audits contracts to ensure compliance and proposes improvements where necessary.
? Ensures contract close-out, extension or renewal.
? Monitors compliance by company employees with established procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:
? Holds a degree in Contracts Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Business Management or equivalent.
? 5+ years experience in a similar role or related industry is preferred (Legal, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain or Operations).
? Previous experience in Francophone country and familiarity with French laws is required.

Location: Yaound?, Cameroon

Salary: Compensation is competitive.

Oil and Gas Job for Drilling Contracts Engineer

17052 – Drilling Contracts Engineer – Nigeria

THE ROLE
CCL (www.cclglobal.com) has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Drilling Contracts Engineer to be based for several months in Paris area with missions to Nigeria then residency in Nigeria for up to 3 years. Travel as required. Contract duration 12 months (renewable). Attractive daily rate. Good long-term prospects, internationally competitive rate / T&Cs.

THE PERSON

The role will manage under the responsibility of the Contracts Manager the drilling & completion contracts as well as procurement related to drilling activity. Specific activities will include: Prepare the technical contracts in accordance with rules and procedures. Participate in the definition of the contractual strategy, taking into account possible synergies. Prepare the bidder list. Preparation of the pre-qualification dossier and pre-qualification procedure. Participate in negotiation, attend to the clarification meetings and reply to contractor requests for clarification. Prepare contracts using standard forms. Contractual / commercial support during Contract execution. Participate in settlement of disputes together with legal, insurance and finance specialists. Propose improvement of CA referential, participate in evolution. Participate in supplier and contractor evaluation and follow up. Ensure correct filing of contractual information to comply with requirements. Ensure adequate and timely reporting to Contract Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Degree qualified / equivalent. Proficient IT skills. Fluent written & spoken English. Knowledge of French a plus. Must be eligible to live and work in France.

Contracts Administrator

Our client is looking for a Contracts Administrator to contract in Cameroon likely to last just over 6 months.

This will be a FIFO 8 weeks on 2 weeks off.

This is to oversee construction works and you will need to manage signing of contracts between contractors on site, bill of quantities and signing off of work and hours etc...

Ideally you will have some experience of working in Africa and a working knowledge of French, but this is not essential.

You will have contracts administration experience of construction, civil or mechanical engineering projects.

It is potential that follow on work will arise from this contract on future projects.
